Yes, another IUD.

But I got some reading done.

And the cats don't get upset about the occassional dust bunny that sneaks out from under furniture.

Weather was somewhat overcast, but warm enough that the furnace has yet to cycle on.

I'm almost done typing up the inventories of the Newcomb materials I've been working on. Tuesday (weather permitting) I shall go in to New Orleans and get the inventories in the correct boxes, then get started on some more of the boxes.

Unless, of course, it's rainy. Canes and wet weather do not go well together.

I think I spotted another front porch dry cat food dish just over the fence in my neighbor's yard. (This is not the lawn-mowing neighbor, but the guy with two grown sons on the other side of me.) I can probably reach it from my side with a rake and then a "grabber." This one is Tupperware. Oh--and the metal one is gone again.

Another IUD winding down.

UPDATE

The Giants just clobbered the 49ers and therefore are headed for the Super Bowl.

I was rooting for the Giants for a variety of reasons. Probably the first reason was because too many San Francisco fans (in San Francisco and at the game with the Saints) were rude and generally nasty.

The other reason was because I grew up in NE New Jersey. Brooklyn Dodgers were the baseball team we rooted for. At that time professional football was not the big deal it is today. I don't think any pro football games were being televised. (For that mattter, neither were baseball games.)
