At least the weather was decent today--meaning no wet stuff falling from the sky.

I'm sure my big watch cat was glad of that too--Now that he has discovered the ideal watch-cat location, he's on the roof of my car a lot more. I'm sure it's warmer than the ground--or even a leaf-covered ground.

I had barely started typing up another inventory for work when something or other happened--like the phone ringing.

Whatever. It can wait another day. And since tomorrow is Friday it can get done on Saturday or Sunday.

I've about changed my mental "calendar" to reflect that. Unless it rains, Monday I'll be back working with the alumnae files. And getting myself back into something remotely resembling a routine.

And now it's time to return to the idiot box. At least that has human voices speaking in a language I know.
