Another lovely surprise!!

This time the main course is shrimp--and once again there's enough food on there for at least two dinners.

They told me there would be eight more.

Come Sunday I shall try to find out a little more about this.

Otherwise--another IUD, although I did do some shopping at the big W this morning. The various critters do like to eat, and now the raccoons are waiting at the back door every evening for the (now regular) evening toss-out of a couple of handfuls (handsful?) of generic dog raccoon biscuits.

Weather is lovely--the furnace hasn't cycled on for several days, and I'm using only a light coverlet at night.

And I just realized that I haven't heard the dogs next door barking today. I wonder if the people went off on another mini-vacation, but this time boarded the dogs. The pet sitter also has a kennel which she refers to as Doggie Camp--and promises daily hikes in the woods, among other things. When we had a dog (or dogs) we'd board them if we went off. Just a whole lot safer, even though the yard is fenced.

Time for a brief siesta.
