I think I am (maybe) a bunch closer to being caught up on household and personal junk.

Probably not, but one can dream.

[Incidentally, how many of you readers manage to type out an entry with a very friendly cat wanting to be up close? My big male (Spots) is really craving attention lately.]

Maybe that's because the critters are scattering into their own new domains. The ones born last year are no doubt getting signals from their hormones.

(He, of course, no longer gets those "signals." The Humane Society's Feral Spay/Neuter program took care of that little detail. And so others would know, the very tip of his left ear got snipped off as a sign of his asexual status.)

He is being very friendly tonight--on the card table using the back of the keyboard as a brace for a long and thorough bath. (I keep an old brush handy for getting stuff out from between the keys.)

Anyway, it was an incredibly unremarkable day. The electrical guy didn't show up. Not a major disaster. I'll be going back in to work on Monday (weather permitting), so if he shows up he'll have a bit of a surprise.

I dozed for a bit during the evening news, but my body is telling me to get to bed at a reasonable hour tonight.

Well, that's not hard to do--there is seldom anything on TV that is really that great. (Anyway, it will be run again during the summer.)

So--I'm headed for a bit of TV, then a lovely long night's sleep.
