Until about an hour ago, it was more or less an IUD.

Then it was one thing after another.

Trying to find some paperwork regarding a bill; my back starting to object to the general tension; the cat that couldn't decide whether it wanted to be in or out (I didn't have the usual window to the screened porch open, so it had to have the door opened (yes, your majesty) and then closed again so that the miscellaneous four-footed ones who come for evening snacks limit their visit to the front porch.)

But, I finally did get all that little excrement under control. (Notice I'm even using ladylike terminology.)

And here I am at the computer with a lovely heating pad relaxing my back, while the AC provides a counter to said heat. It will be 10 PM far too soon.

There is still, however, the matter of the purse. First one end of the strap and then the other decided they didn't want to stay attached to the purse.

So the top of tomorrow's list says NEW PURSE. I probably have an old one somewhere in the depths of the closet, but I have a faint recollection of tossing most of them into a Good Will bag so I could find the closet floor. I'm going to need a new one anyway (the old ones are definitely old and worn) so I might as well try to get it tomorrow and not have to worry about another old one giving way.

I'll cross fingers and start with WalMart. It has reasonable prices and fairly solid construction and it's open tomorrow. It has those electric carts so I don't have to hike all over the place.

It's been a busy day and my body is discovering that I have slowed down. It wants a complete slowdown--which ends in sleep. I'm thinking that's a good idea.

I doubt I'll make it past the 10 PM news.
