For some reason (obviously at some point I hit the wrong key) I now have to present a password to add stuff.

Fortunately, I used an "old reliable" password, and it turned out to be the right one.

At least for today. Who knows what tomorrow will bring?

So what were the unremarkables for today? Let's see--WalMart, of course. The cats have this strange desire to eat canned cat food on a daily basis.

And I have a strange desire to eat also.

Cat food won't do it for me, although I suppose if I was really starving it would probably seem like filet mignon. (As long as I held my nose, and pretended it was filet mignon hash.)

Instead, I got a chicken salad (the salad, not the sandwich) at Arby's. They put together some fairly large salads--definitely giving a good value.

WalMart was a royal pain. Several weeks ago they quit having "greeters" at the entrances/exits. That makes it a royal pain in the neck (or somewhere lower) for those of us who find the motorized baskets a much more satisfactory way to get around. The "associates" supposedly help from within the store, which is really no help at all. I need to get the phone number for the store so I can be a pain in the wherever when I get there and find no sign of a motorized cart.

And to write them a (polite, but nasty) letter on how they are becoming handicapped-hostile.

For pity sake--the little Sav-a-Lot store where I get emergency food has two motorized carts!

Well, enough of my griping--it's getting late and if I get a decent night's sleep I should be less crabby tomorrow.

Are WalMarts all over cutting back on customer assistance like the one here is?
