I must stop reading What's New in Books, or whatever my local paper calls it.

It started today when I spotted a "new books" note in the Sunday paper. This was a book by a prof I knew at Tulane.

And then--as long as I was on the Amazon site--I ordered a couple more copies of books by YD. And added to my preorder of her next one, which should be out any week now.

Oh well--there are a lot worse "habits" than books.
