It was a lovely, restful day.
YD and family had invited me for a dinner out, but I wasn't feeling all that great in the morning, so I cancelled out. It was the thought that really counted. So, I lolled around and let myself have a couple of "sinking spells" and now I'm feeling pretty good. As best as I can tell, the cats are following my lead and taking it easy. Weather is quite pleasant, and the black cat has been soaking up the sun like mad. While he's outside doing that my striped girl cat has been keeping things under control inside. The cats' primary duty is to keep elephants out of the yard--and I have yet to see even one in the neighborhood. (And if they saw one, they'd probably invite it to stay for dinner and maybe a bath in the pool.) By now the masked ones have probably been by to check out the dry food on the porch. I usually wait till it's dusk before tossing out the raccoon biscuits. No sign yet of little ones being weaned from mama's milk to dog biscuits and cat kibble. I've got stuff to type up for work. If I don't get it all done this evening, I'll stay at home tomorrow and do it then. Another (mostly) IUD. Read/Post Comments (1) Previous Entry :: Next Entry Back to Top |
