Still trying to get caught up on routine household chores/junk. And not making much progress, although I am making some.

I called the vet to make a semi-appointment for routine stuff on Spots. He hasn't met this vet yet, but will, come Friday. That is, unless he's a mind reader and disappears at the prospect.

I managed to get collars on both cats, and they don't seem to be bothered by them at all. Maybe the other critters around are impressed by the evidence that have their very own humans.

This afternoon I ran a relatively quick errand to WalMart, and when I got in the car to return home the rear view mirror (inside) fell off. (oh excrement)

So, I stopped at the car repair place on the way home. Luckily, I keep an emergency book in the car, so I read while the guy finished up one car and could spare the few minutes it took to glue my mirror back on the windshield. For no charge.

He's got quite a busy shop and seems to be doing comfortably.

I shall (probably) try again tomorrow to get in to work, although I still have a bunch of stuff that can be done at home for the most part. We'll see how the weather is--and especially what the rain probabilities are.
