2012-06-28 7:00 PM Definitely Summer Read/Post Comments (1) |
Hot, sweaty, very little breeze.
Perfectly normal for late June in the Deep South. Activity-wise--it was a perfectly normal day for late June in the Deep South. I had a couple of minor errands, and then spent the rest of the day working hard to not work up a sweat. The front porch was good for reading--nice air circulation. The den couch--with a fan aimed at it--was excellent for an afternoon "sinking spell." I'm behind on my self-imposed "schedule" for getting inventories of archives typed up. Well--most of the materials have been sitting in cartons for more than two years, so a few more weeks won't hurt. But it would be nice to get them done. Now that we're much more into the "warmer" summer weather I'll have lots of incentive--OPAC is the reward for archival lists. I haven't seen my boy cat (yet) today. My girl has been around, but not the boy. Nor the raccoons. He's probably with them--he considers them playmates. When I'm finished in here I'll bang the food dish against the house. That usually gets him home. Well--today definitely fits the blog title. Read/Post Comments (1) Previous Entry :: Next Entry Back to Top |
