New month, new color. (And I am aware that once I change the color, it changes it all the way back to the beginning.)

This sort of reflects the sunniness (and heat) of the time.

Definitely an IUD. I didn't go past the mailbox till late afternoon, and that was for a minor errand (fast food for supper.)

I hadn't seen my big black cat when I went out for the mail and the paper, or when I got back from erranding.

I just checked and he is now happily surveying his domain from the roof of my car. I'm assuming that he helped himself to the food I put out.

Needless to say, I have the AC on in the "computer room/office."

If I find my usual sleeping spot a bit too warm, I'll move in here where I can cool the air and sleep.

And I find it hard to believe that it's August already.

Time seems to pass faster the older you are. Why? Because each day is a smaller portion of your life.

I have set myself a goal of being all caught up on typing the inventories for work by Friday. (Or Sunday evening, at the very latest .)

Then I'll go in to N.O. and start rough-drafting another carton full of files.

But now I'm ready to settle in for an evening of mindless TV.
