Well, the boy cat is in the area--but no sign (yet) of the girl today. I suspect that she's two-homing it, even though she has a collar that (I think) has my phone number on it.

I haven't seen my kids' names in the obituaries, so I'm assuming they're still alive.

They both have extremely full lives--the older one is a local physician. Her older kid is in college, and the younger one is in high school. Once school starts again I'll have to check the football news for the local schools. I'm pretty sure he's on the team.

My younger daughter is an author--and (I gather) a fairly successful one. She's had more than a half dozen books published. The genre is fantasy/mystery. So far my favorites are My Life as a White Trash Zombie and its successor Even White Trash Zombies Get the Blues.

I'm about done with the typing that goes with my (volunteer) job at Newcomb College. I process archival materials, and get them all nicely listed, and the lists are eventually put on line.

So, today has just been like most of the others--incredibly unremarkable.
