Another ho-hum day.
Nobody I knew stopped by, telephoned, or was in the same place as I was (such as WalMart.) Par for the course. Some of the raccoons are behaving as if they have chosen to settle down here. I have no problems with that, as long as they follow a couple of simple rules, such as Not in the house proper--the front porch is okay, but don't go exploring the cat door to inside the house. And--don't challenge the cats for food. Not that that's a particular problem, since the cats eat their cat food inside (for the most part). They (my masked little friends) have definitely decided that cheap dog biscuits are a real treat. From my perspective, that's great, since the cats have no interest in them (the dog biscuits.) I will not be sorry to see the end of the Olympics. Most of what gets telecast is either competitive games, or passive (individually graded) activities like gymnastics, racing (in various venues), etc. There seems to be a lot of dancing. Somehow I don't think that Beach Volleyball was among the competitions in the original Olympics, some two millenia ago. [Just looked out the window, and then at the clock. 8 PM and full dark already. Where has the summer gone?] When one has an IUD there's usually not much to rattle on about. Let's see what tomorrow brings. Read/Post Comments (4) Previous Entry :: Next Entry Back to Top |
