My Incredibly Unremarkable Life

You got it! Another IUD.

I got some "stuff" done around the house, and I ran a couple of minor errands.

It's borderline on being disgustingly hot. When I'm in the house with the fans on it's quite comfortable, but once I start moving around I definitely notice that it's mid-August.

When feeding time came this afternoon my boy cat was right there, but no sign of my girl. I banged on the side of the trailer (it's a "mealtime" signal that carries) but no sign of the girl.

When I went onto the porch to put out the raccoons' food, there she was, sitting quite happily on the table. And I was a softie and went and got her food and put it there on the porch, on the table, right in front of her.

I don't spoil my critters.

I think we're hurricane watching again--at least one storm is either in or heading for the Gulf. And once a storm gets into the Gulf the odds are strong that the winds and rain will affect a lot of people to a greater or lesser degree.

Time now to unwind and become a couch potato.
