Sears said they would be delivering my new freezer tomorrow morning.

I gave a bit of thought to actually going to Sears (I haven't been there in ages and ages) and then picked up the phone.

I knew what size I wanted, the price was reasonable, and the whole transaction was completed by phone.

It could be purple with green polka dots and I wouldn't care--it will be in the garage, for pity sake!

I went with the "regular" size--like I have now. And once it arrives and is set up, I can start restocking it with this and that--and lots of bottles half full of water. (It's also self-defrost. of course.)

I'll also start with other stuff that sits around better if it's in a freezer.

Later in the afternoon my friends at the vampire club (blood center) called me. I'll go there Friday or Saturday and pass along some platelets.

I was thinking about the blood center just the other day, and trying to recall the last time I'd donated. I think it was one of those "we need A-neg" calls.

So--another day gone by (almost).

I hope Sears comes fairly early tomorrow.
