My Incredibly Unremarkable Life

That's how long it took my "regular" computer guy to analyze the problem and fix it.

My cats (of course) consider any flat surface Theirs.

In the process of meandering around behind the monitor (which sits on a card table), one or the other managed to displace one of the many cords just enough to mess things up.

I think it took Computer Guy all of 30 seconds to take care of the problem.

Next time there's a recurrence, I'll check all the various cords.

Oh--C.G. didn't charge me anything for the 5-minute visit. This may well be a fairly common occurence when there are pets (especially cats) in the household.
