Aside from Verizon losing my address list, it wasn't all that bad of a day.
I got some WalMart stuff bought. And then in the afternoon a woman and her daughter drove down from the other end of the parish to pick up my old pattern collection, plus some other sewing-related stuff. I think she had posted on Freecycle that she was looking for patterns etc.---and I had a bunch of them! (If you sew a lot you can empathize.) She--and her high school age daughter--were thrilled to acquire the collection. (I need to make sure I take that ad down.) It's beginning to have hints of fall in the air. Translation: I didn't feel a need to turn on the AC in my office room. And: I need to keep a light coverlet handy at night. Enough for now--time to zone out on whatever dreck is on TV.
