The dead freezer is gone!!!

Sears called this morning, with an approximate time for pick-up.

And right about that time a huge semi stopped in front of the house (which is about 150 ft.from the road.)

This, of course, blocked the barely 2 lane road, but the two guys were really efficient at getting the old freezer from the garage, trundling it to the truck, and into it.

And then they got themselves out of the road quite efficiently. They had to be either familiar with the area, or good guessers at which street went where.

Anyway, the local residents know all the mini-detours necessary to get around bottlenecks.

I have no idea where the dead freezer will end up, but I'd lay odds that recycle is part of its fate. Probably all sorts of bits and pieces are still useful.

The rest of today was the usual other stuff.

Girl cat wasn't at home at suppertime, but that is not necessarily a Big Deal. It happens more often than I like.

I just went to the front of the house to do a feline inventory and only the boy showed up. He tends to stay closer to home because that way he can get more food.

Time to try and unwind.

Where did the time go? Tomorrow is the middle of the week--Wednesday. (The German word for Wednesday is Mittwoch.)
