Our contractor doing the remodel got involved in an automobile accident. Don't know much about it. Don't know if it was his fault or not. Don't know how serious he is. Do know he's hospitalized, and that the accident made the news.

Somehow, this made my frustrations about getting into my home utterly minute in comparison. I hope he gets better, not for my family's sake, but his. He has a wife and three kids, and he's the sole breadwinner.

There are times I think I have it bad, or stressful. Then I see what that really is. I'm sad that it takes something like this to show me how lucky I am.
