- A job that allows me to blog from work. Well, not explicitly allows, but doesn't forbid me if they don't notice. I have a list of to-dos, a list of due-dates, and it's up to me to make the two align. All in all, it's a very cushy job, and I need to keep that in mind when I start kvetching about the tasks they expect of me.
- Knowledge that my mom is in a safe home, one where people are around to notice if she's sick, or to feed her healthy meals. She's gaining weight and sounding healthier of body. I need to keep this in mind when she digresses into her alternate reality that is too close to ours for me to simply write off.
- The end of the month. After this weekend, her apartment will no longer be ours. I just finished the phone calls with their management and with my cousin to coordinate returning the keys and fetching that last list of stuff (clothes, blankets) from the place. As of Monday, it will be done with.
- Friends. You make this possible. Thank you. Saved the best for last, I did.
