Kitten only met her great-aunt Candice a few times, but loved her. Candice was always smiling, always patient. She loved Kitten right back. See, on my father-in-law's family, Kitten was the only girl born into the family tree. Candice had two boys of her own and a stepson from her husband Jon's first marriage. So, Kitten was the princess of them all.
(My mother-in-law's family had another niece, but that family didn't value girls so there wasn't the same special treatment.) Two Thanksgivings ago, Candice gave Kitten an early Christmas gift, a lamp in the form of a crown. eBay has a picture: (In case eBay's image hosting cleans up the images after their sale, just search on Froogle for Disney Princess Crown Lamp.
