Warning: self-indulgent ramble ahead.
It's late. Past midnight, but I've been staying up on some me-time. Actually, us-time with SpouseKitty. We discovered the joy of NetFlix streaming (a.k.a. the Instant Queue.) Short form: NetFlix subscribers can view some subset of their library in streaming form, and it is wholly separate from their physical disk queue. Most people will probably use their computer to do so. Some companies (Roku comes to mind) make devices that connect to the television to do the same, but to give a better viewing experience. The Xbox 360 does this already. For free. SpouseKitty fell in love with the feature. The Xbox changed overnight from "it's my toy that steals me away from the family while I play games that Kitten shouldn't see" to "it's her way to view movies and TV shows." The bad news is that I now have to petition for time to play my politically incorrect games. The good news is that she is thankful I purchased the box. Anyhow, we spent the past few nights catching up on NCIS episodes. It's late, but a fun addiction. Unfortunately, I'm now all caught up. :( Oh, well.
