I love shiny things. Anything that sparkles or glitter, blinks or lights up - it's for me. So, Tom gave me an MP3 player for my birthday. It is SO SHINY! And sooo compact, I just love it. He tried to talk me into a mini disc player, but they were just too big and bulky for me. I am willing to sacrifice sound quality for glitz! I brought the MP3 player in to work today, and hooked it up to my computer speakers. (My computer at work doesn't have a sound card, so the speakers are pretty much for decorative purposes only). I only loaded 12 songs into the player, and, I must say that there is a very eclectic grouping of musical styles on here. Right now I am listening to Four Non Blondes sing "What's Up?" The next tune is Marylin Manson, followed by Sean Paul's "Get Buzy" and then Jewell's "Intuition". Oh, and now Limp Bizkit's "Break Stuff". My neck hurts - I think it is from the musical whiplash from going from one style to another. I just switched it to the radio - this should help. Ahh... 96 Rock....take me away.....
