I am sad.

Very sad.

The company I work for is going through some major changes.

The political correctness word they use is "Corporate Restructure".

Bottom line - 2/3 of the department I work in was let go.

Poof.

Just like that.

Gone.

Including the man who hired me, and who has worked there for 14 years.

My heart is sick, and my eyes are sore from crying.

I almost feel guilty that I am still there while 20 other people lost their jobs out of the blue.

It's a sad day for me indeed...
