Ok, I admit it - I was addicted to Dancing with the Stars. There is so much negative crap in the news and the world today, that I am starting to turn to 'fluff' or I will have a media mental meltdown.

I was pulling for Emmit Smith to win, and he did! What a smile! I am quite the sucker for a nice set of teeth. Oh, and he could dance too.

So, it got me to thinking about next season, and what 'stars' would paricipate in the show. I must say, the use of the word 'stars' is very liberal. Perhaps a better name for the show should be 'Dancing with People You May or May Not Have Heard Of"

Here is my dream list of 5 People That I Have Heard Of that I would like to see on the show.

1) Bono (you know that had to be the first one for me!)
He seems to have what it takes to be a ballroom dancer.
* he is from Europe
* he is short. Very short actully.
* he is used to wearing shoes with a heel
* he has natural swager

2) Sean Connery
He was James Bond. 'nuff said.

3) Carrie Fisher
I would like to see Princess Leah have another chance at grace and elegance.

4) Howie Long
Former football players have done well with this show. Jerry Rice came in second last season. I'd like to see Howie strut his stuff.

5) Al Gore
I think he invented ballroom dancing, didn't he? It would be fun to see Al demand that the votes be recounted the week he is eliminated. Think about it! There would be claims of voter fraud and intimidation. The phone lines in Ohio would mysteriously go down. The ratings would sky rocket!

So there you have it. My list of stars!

Leave me some comments and let me know who your 5 stars would be! Until then, keep your feet on the ground and keep reaching for the people you may or may not have heard of!
