As many blog community members know, Clarion East, the esteemed speculative fiction workshop currently run out of MSU, has fallen on hard times, due to funding cutbacks by the university. Clarion East has been successful in recent fundraising efforts, but needs to continue to raise money to offer its summer seminar (at least, until it finds an alternative patron / site). The program needs $17,400 to hold its Summer 2005 session.
