Greg van Eekhout did a doodle of Paul Melko with his eyes on stalks, with a yawning orifice hidden cunningly beneath his clothes. I expressed envy. Greg responded by doing a rather convincing portrait of me:

Looks like "Soul Searching" is going to be in the next Nebula Awards Showcase (being as it was a Rhysling winner). They're even giving me enough money for a whole bunch of beer! Which is more than I expect for a poem, so it's a nice surprise.
