Though I didn't sign up to be on programming at Worldcon (because of, um, laziness and forgetfulness, mostly), I'm doing a couple of things anyway. I'll probably be on the "Locus in its 40th Year" panel at 2:30 on Friday, though I can't guarantee it since we're arriving in Anaheim Friday around noon. If our plane is late, or the shuttle is slow, I might not make it in time. And I should be signing at the Asimov's / Analog table from 5 to 6 on Saturday.

Hmm. Lots to do in the next couple of days. Have to finish up work on Greg van Eekhout's chapbook, since we're taking it to be printed tomorrow night. Heather's giving it a last proofread today, and we'll send it to Greg tonight for a final once-over. I'll fiddle with the images and make sure they look good tonight, and make any final corrections tomorrow. Then we'll be done! I've read the chapbook about ten times now, and it's really great. It's hard to proofread because I keep getting sucked into the flow of the stories. You can pre-order it now and get it mailed to you in a couple of weeks. How you gonna beat that?

I also have to bake cookies tomorrow. (Long story, but I promised someone I'd make snickerdoodles, the one kind of cookie I can reliably make well.) I'd like to wash the car. I'd also like to, you know, get some writing done. We'll see how that works out.

Thursday night I'll be Heather's date at the premiere screening of a new porn movie, which should be a weird experience. I've never seen porn on the big screen. This weekend is busy too. Ah, well. I'll collapse in September, I suppose.
