Saturday we cleaned. And cleaned and cleaned and cleaned. Our house is in much better shape, now, and I even put together a shelf that's been in storage forever and set it up next to the TV, so now our Xbox and DVD player and Tivo are on solid shelving instead of teetering in a great heap atop a TV tray. There's even room for all our videos and games! I am most pleased.

Sunday we cooked and ate and drank. Greg and Dr. Lisa came over, so we fired up the grill, seared some buffalo steaks, grilled some portobellas and sausages and chicken, slow-cooked some bananas with honey and cinnamon, and generally had ourselves a feast, with appropriate alcoholic beverages. Great fun. When it got cold toward evening we retired upstairs to chat, play video games, and do a round of Book Lover's Trivial Pursuit (couple against couple, and they were worthy adversaries!). A wonderful Sunday.

So today is the blessed third day of our three-day-weekend. We don't have any plans. (At some point I'll wash dishes, I suppose.) Should be very relaxing. Hope y'all are having a good time too.
