2006-12-21 10:47 AM Shortest Day Previous Entry :: Next Entry Read/Post Comments (3) Happy solstice! (And remember my solstice reading tonight if you're local.) I got some more sleep yesterday, and took tons of the appropriate Chinese medicine, and kept myself hydrated, and etc. I slept through the night fine (normally Nyquil only takes me safely through about four in the morning), and woke up with no sore throat. Still a little stuffy in the head, still a little tickle in my throat, but it's so much better. Unless I get hit by laryngitis-causing-bacteria, I think I'll be okay to read for fifteen minutes tonight. I'm so glad. I did get some work done yesterday morning, and am caught up on all my freelancing stuff until next week, so I don't need to do anything this weekend but cook, clean, and enjoy Xmas frolicking. We've got a lot of things planned. We're going to the Dickens Faire on Saturday, and Sunday we've got to clean up the house in preparation for having Xmas here. We're going to a party on Sunday night. Monday will involve opening presents and cooking, cooking, cooking. And then, subsequently, eating. I love the holidays.
