If you're in the bay area and want a *very* entry-level job in the magazine/publishing world, and you have a love of science fiction, send an application as per the instructions in the ad. The job mostly involves driving and doing tedious administrivia, so set expectations accordingly. Starting pay is a lot better now than it was when I got hired five years ago! (Still doesn't pay much though.)
