2007-06-14 8:11 AM Writing Shouldn't (Physically) Hurt, Should It? Previous Entry :: Next Entry Read/Post Comments (0) I wrote a lot yesterday. A lot. One of my top four or five most productive days ever, I think -- 10,200 words all together. (My neck and shoulders are sore today. That tells me I wrote too much.) I didn't sit and jam non-stop at the computer though, and it was a fairly balanced day, actually -- I watched some Doctor Who, took a long walk, did a little shopping, chatted with the landlord, played with the cats, etc. But I was thinking about the novel constantly, and tended to wander back to the computer whenever I wasn't actively doing something else, and so over the course of the day built up a good bit of steam. Things are cracking along nicely. Only about 35,000 words left to go, and those words will be packed tight full of awesome. A nice thing: I got a couple of Advance Reader Copies of Blood Engines, which means it's going out to reviewers, and, no doubt, reviews will start popping up in the near future. Very exciting, and also nervous-making. Only 3 and a half months until it's on bookstore shelves! Whoo! Read/Post Comments (0) Previous Entry :: Next Entry Back to Top |
