Apart from baby-related squee, I spent the weekend working on Poison Sleep revisions, effectively adding a whole new chapter and various bits of infill, along with cutting out some redundant repetitive bits... I think it's basically fixed now, but I'm doing a last read-through for line edits, to look for continuity errors introduced by my new chapter, to spackle here and there as necessary, etc.

A couple of my Dead Reign first readers have let me know they've finished the book, and the consensus seems to be: very cool, needs a lot of work. (I knew the latter. I wasn't so sure about the former. So this is good news!) I already have some ideas for stuff I should add and tweak, but I'll wait to hear from everyone before I implement anything, as there are still probably giant problems I'm blind to.

Getting the major Poison Sleep work done is a huge relief for me. I feel like my workload is manageable again, instead of soul-crushing. Yay for a lack of soul-crushing!
