Oh well. Next time. John Joseph Adams interviewed me a while back for Sci Fi Weekly, and you can now read my blatherings here. Charles Tan has a nice review of Little Gods, which is a book of short stories I vaguely remember writing, partially in the previous millennium. (He did an interview with me recently, too, which will be out later this month.) The Locus Recommended Reading List for 2007 is live, and includes my novel Blood Engines, my collection Hart & Boot & Other Stories, and my story "Artifice and Intelligence", along with many other fine books and stories, a vanishingly small percentage of which I've actually read. (Note: I had some input into that list, though not as regards the inclusion of my own work, obviously; otherwise there'd be a lot more of my stories there!) Publishers Weekly has a positive review of Poison Sleep in this week's issue! PW gave good notices to both my collections, a bad review to Rangergirl, and ignored Blood Engines -- but they like Poison Sleep, and so I like them. Pull-quotey bit: "Pratt keeps the action lively in this wonderfully whimsical urban fantasy." I'm whimsical, bitches. Read/Post Comments (1) Previous Entry :: Next Entry Back to Top |
