Cardinals Update!

Just realized the last time I talked about my beloved Redbirds on this site, they were struggling to get back above .500. I am pleased to report that after 7 straight wins, sweeping the Pirates and the (then) first place Cubbies, St. Louis now sits on top of the NL Central. Even though we won't have Mac back until June and Ankiel had to be demoted this week after a horrific start against the Pirates (fortunately we came back and won the game), we are playing some seriously good baseball right now.

Yeah, I know I have a tendency to speak of my favorite teams in the first person plural, as if I personally had something to do with their success, but I can't help it.
