Most of the people who read my blog don't care much about sports.  However, most of the people who read my blog, know me, and I care about sports.  Particularly baseball.  So when Jayson Stark over at ESPN.com recommended Aaron's Baseball Blog in his "Rumblings and Grumblings" column, I had to check it out.  Turns out Aaron is a sophmore in college who not only knows his ball, he's a darn good writer.  Period.  Not even "for his age."  Those of you who do like baseball, or know someone who does, should really check him out.

St. Louis Cardinals' Grade for the Week: B+
Sure, after taking 3 of 4 from the (loveably) detested Cubbies, I am tempted to grade the boys on a curve. But losing 9 of 10 to Cinncinatti? A team as good as the Cards should be should not be losing 9 of 10 to anybody. Much less a division rival with a shaky pitching staff. One can only hope Izzy is almost ready to return. If the Cardinals could change even half of the 8 games we've lost this season in the other team's last at-bat to wins, we'd be in first right now.

I was going to write about my very social weekend, including my experience at a hookah bar in the city for Nina's birthday (sounds much more exotic than it actually was) but I don't really feel like it.  I've been at the computer for a while and I should get back to my massive room cleaning.
