I was so distracted by the TMQ-fiasco yesterday, I forgot to give my writing update for the week. I'm feeling pretty proud of myself because over study days I typed up the first draft of a 12 page unfinished story for my conference with my workshop professor, revised another story to turn in for workshop, and finally got a chunk of written-but-not-typed sections of thesis typed and printed to turn in to Lucy. As she had requested, I put together all the sections I currently had in first draft form, including the few she's already seen. Altogether it was more than 100 pages, plus a list of several sections I have planned but haven't finished the handwritten drafts for yet. Go, me! I still don't know if I'll have a "finished" first draft by the end of the semester (with all the sections I have envisioned) but I'm making a lot of progress. Plus I'm still managing to work on other projects, too. Though I'm sure I will hit one of those low my-work-sucks phases pretty soon, while I'm on this productivity high I'm going to enjoy it.
