OK, so I was thinking about changing at least my profile picture since it's Spring Break (and thus not winter) but since I checked the weather forecast again and they are now forecasting SNOW in TULSA on MARCH 15, I think I'll hold off. If it really happens, it has to be some kind of a record ... I do remember it snowing the day before my birthday my freshman year in college (March 13, 1999) but that's the latest in the year I've ever seen snow on the ground in Oklahoma. This is so not fair.

I sooo need a break. I have been so immersed in my writing that I haven't done anything else that wasn't absolutely necessary. It's almost like I've suddenly surfaced from underwater -- I didn't really notice while I was down there, but now that I'm out it's taking a while for me to catch my breath.

Anyway, I'm going now. I have to get up at the crack of dawn to catch my shuttle to the airport.
