Sports fan readers: No, it has nothing to do with the All-Star Game. Strictly metaphorical.

Going with the metaphor, there are signs that maybe my summer of limbo is about to come to an end -- but like when a pitcher warms up in the bullpen and may or not be coming into a game, I'm not absolutely positive anything's going to happen yet.

What that means is I had a job interview on Tuesday. It went well, I would like the job a lot, but I'm not sure I've actually got the job, or even that I've made it to the next round of interviews yet. Still, at least I've got proof I'm not just emailing resumes out into the Internet ether, to be lost forever.
