No sooner do I change the color scheme, then it's blue throwback jersey time! And Scott Rolen off the DL just makes it sweeter. Plus, I got to watch that game while I was home.

Then, this morning, as I (again) stomp down to the far entrance of the Subway station because the turnstile won't read my perfectly good Metrocard, a report (linked via Gothamist) is released showing that 1 out of every 4 Metrocard swipes is an error. 

I'm just hoping not bringing an umbrella to work today means it won't be raining after all.  But considering the clouds outside, not much chance of that. (Update: Ha! No rain!)

Vacation was exactly what I needed -- all the residual annoyance and stress from the Stupid Workshop of &#*!&*! Technology is gone now.

Also, I am going to attempt to reset my computer's harddrive this week, in my final effort to salvage it before I give in and by a new one.  If it works, I may be posting more often.  If it doesn't, well I don't post often enough as it is for you to know the difference, right?
