It's March 1st and the ground is crunchy with sleet, I had a mind-numbingly boring day at work, and the fun evening of hanging out with friends I had planned fell through when no one showed up at the bar. But Albert hit a home run in our first Spring Training game, and we were playing the Mets, so I just got to see it on the news. I'm a happy, happy girl right now. (I don't even care that the Cards lost; that's the fun of Spring Training.)
