In summary, since I last posted:

The Cardinals have lost eight straight games and a couple of starting pitchers (one to injury, one to suckiness)

The US lost their way out of the World Cup (though at least scored a goal all by themselves this time -- I think that means we technically finished higher than Iran)

I have lost my mailbox keys, a compact, decent TV reception, and (temporarily) the charger for my mp3 player at home, and some files I remember making last year at work. Also the ability to wear contacts without irritation for more than three hours -- apparently I can't lose my allergies, no matter how much medicine I take.

All streaks come to an end -- I just wish mine would hurry it up already.
