The arts related seminar we originally had in mind doesn't look like it's going to pan out, so Madame Director was brainstorming aloud about alternative presenters.
"Well," she said, "I guess I could email E.L. Doctorow, see if he's interested." I suppose, knowing Madame Director's mad networking skills, it was inevitable that she'd turn out to know someone awesome, but wow. If by some miracle we actually do turn out to be offering a creative writing seminar with E.L. Doctorow I might have to figure out a way to sit in on some of those sessions. In other news, I am still alive -- just very, very busy with paid work, with unpaid work (i.e., writing), with my personal life. It's all good (some of it is great, actually) but with all the craziness something had to get left out, and the most logical thing was regular blog posting. I can't promise I'll be more consistent any time soon, but I'll try. Read/Post Comments (0) Previous Entry :: Next Entry Back to Top |
