Great Performances is showing the New York City Ballet's film of Jerome Robbins' NY Export:Opus Jazz this month, and here in New York it was on Thirteen tonight at 8. I was so excited about this after seeing the trailer three weeks ago that I wrote it on my wall calendar, then yesterday I double-checked the time to make sure I wouldn't forget.

So what did I watch this evening?

You know, 'cause for some reason I was in the mood for a movie about teenagers dancing on the streets of New York. Sigh.
