Short entry tonight (and early).

A long work week is over and it's time to kick back for a little bit before this next very busy week falls upon me.

Yesterday I griped a bit about the quality of the galleys I received from Dragon Moon Press. I'm more than happy to recant that griping. It looks like there was some miscommunication somewhere and I've seen new galleys (ah, the wonder of the digital age) and am much happier.

"Man, those Samoans are a surly bunch."
What's _your_ favorite Margaret Mead quote?

Did some writing today, and some more housework, and Pretty Maggie is less than an hour away. The weekend doth begin! Wahoo!

Today's link goes to the Rhode Island Science Fiction Club folks who are holding one of their several yard sales this weekend to help raise funds for a con suite for the Boston worldcon in '04. They also produce a pretty cool cable access show called "Sci-Fi Journal" where they run reviews and interviews with authors, editors, and actors. For a fairly small group (as science fiction clubs go) they're amazingly active and contain a pretty wide cross-section of the fan community. Check out their webpage.

Cheers!
