Reading: old New Yorker back issues
Music: no music yet... NPR news on internet radio
Link o' the Day: Phil Foglio

I missed last night's entry as an evening of socializing ran later than I expected. 'twas a fun evening, with much good conversation and some okay coffee (dark roasts... ech).

A friend of mine's car was stolen a few days ago. It was found by the police at Narragansett beach the next morning, trashed. So he gets it back, replaces the windows, makes arrangements for a new hood.

The car gets stolen again. Bam! Right from outside his house.

Now it's personal.

New workday. Morning here at the office and all I can think of is how much I'd have ruther stood in bed. Didn't get any work to speak of last night aside from archiving some material I'll be using in some upcoming freelance projects. Tonight I hope to make up for the loss in time. Mucho to do-oh.

Short entry as I'm at work and they're paying me and they expect me to work for them. That said, today's link leads to one of my favorite illustrators, Phil Foglio. I've been a fan of his for years, from his fan art in the early 80s to his What's New series in The Dragon (the original run), his work at Warp, and more. I met him at MilPhil and have talked to him a few times since. A Very Nice Guy.

Check out his pages, his free samples, and Buy Some Neat Stuff!

Cheers!
