Link o' the Day: Journalscape's recent entries

So the interviews that have been running amok here at Journalscape have been fun. I'm visiting journals of people I've never viewed before just to see what kind of questions and answers people come up with. Those readers who aren't Journalscape regulars should check out the recent entries made by other folk. (Yes, this is today's link-o'-the-day.)

Been having some good mojo with the writing lately. Stuck in some places, but running free and wild in others. I had a bit of a dry spell over the extensive holidays, but that seems to have passed now and I'm getting back into the swing of things with new stories finished and others being sent off.

Freelance is getting a little chaotic with five projects all coming together at the same time. One gets mailed to the author today. Another gets mailed to the printers tomorrow. A third should be off to that same print by Friday, so that will be three off my desk. The fourth project is a chapbook which shouldn't take long to do and that will be heading out by the weekend. And then there's the big 300-pager. That's my monkey for the rest of the week and the majority of the weekend.

Not really complaining. The bottlenecking is making things kind of confusing, but I'm not letting it overwhelm me, and fortunately the publisher knows all this and isn't putting the pressure on. Thankfully I've been able to work each day on these. When the fifth project is out the door for proofing, I can breathe even more before I start on the sixth upcoming project. Take time for me and Pretty Maggie and no 'un else.

Speaking of printing. Any subscribers to the SFWA Bulletin out there? If you could give me a holler as to when you receive your copies, I'd appreciate it. They should be in the bulk mail by now.

Alert readers may notice that, for the second time in the past couple of weeks, I've been watching Friends DVDs. Yes, this is the whitest show ever produced, but dang dat Chandler's a hoot!

I had another topic lined up for today--sublime and deeply philosophical, but the day job beckons. Off I go!

Cheers!
