Music: Anti-Flag TV/Movie: Saiyuki Vol. 2 Link o' the Day: Amazing's webpage I just received a copy of the new Amazing. It's better than I expected, with enough fiction and fiction-related features that I didn't mind all the Spiderman/Batman/movie junk I had to page through. There were some interesting little tidbit items on cult movies, though, and while their anime reviews weren't of titles I'd have chosen, it was good to see them and hope that there will be better ones in the future. (One thing I noticed in the reviews was that they don't seem to be afraid to talk about the negative. Good for them.) I've not read everything yet, but the fiction all looks excellent, and there are many more book reviews that I thought there would be, plus a great interview with Robert Silverberg and a featurette with Larry Niven. Best, tho, is they published my haiku in response to their haiku challenge a couple of months ago. Of the three I sent, this is perhaps the one I liked the least, but they thought different, apparently. Amazing Stories Another slush, another postage stamp done gone Cheers!
