With the 4th of July, and a family pool party at my cousin's, looming we decided it will be an ideal time to let my extended family know our plans for adoption. Therefore, I went to Kinko's and had copies of our announcement made.

(Side note - Kinko's employees are stupid. Half of our announcements turned out like folded cards as I wished; half of them were screwed up and became one-sided postcards. Grrrr.)

This brings us to a happy dilemma - when to send the "rest" of the cards out? Basically, when do we tell the WORLD that we are adopting, so I can become all girly and discuss baby clothes and nursery decorating to my heart's content? I'm talking friends, relatives we don't see very often, etc.

I think we'll send it out this week. How exciting!
