2004-03-19 9:07 PM stress, or the flu? Mood: Sick Read/Post Comments (2) |
In our running around last night, we grabbed a quick bite to eat at Taco Bell. In the future, I would not recommend their food as a "quick bite under pressure" kind of meal.
Woke up this morning with a stomach ache that just got worse. Taco Bell and stress, I thought. Great combination. Then I began to get sleepy, light-headed, hot and cold... and then the muscle aches started. So it's looking more like the flu. I couldn't even finish ironing a pair of pants because I got sweaty and chilled. I had to rip off my sweatshirt and take off my slippers, and sit down on the basement steps for a few minutes. Until I got cold, and had to put the sweatshirt on again. Even better, I laid down for a nap. I had this crazy fever-dream, where I was watching a movie with Demi Moore in it, but I was also "in" the movie following her around. It was a psychological thriller, where her 8 or 9 year old son died but we didn't know how, until she began to have all these memories. Except I, following her around in the movie, had the memories instead. Disturbing in itself. Luckily, I can wake myself up out of dreams. When she turned on a water faucet and blood started coming out in dark red globs, I woke myself up. Now that's just.... really disturbing. So Doug is doing the packing, and I'm doing the emailing / paper trail / nonphysical work currently. We'll be ready in time. Whether he or I feel healthy, is a different story. :) Read/Post Comments (2) Previous Entry :: Next Entry Back to Top |
